Instructions to Referees
Miller Visitors (Professors, Scholars and Creative Artists) are
women and men of outstanding achievement in academic or public
life. These visitors might teach a special course, engage in
research activities, interact informally with students and
faculty, or take part in interdisciplinary seminars.
Visitors are invited to participate in activities of the Center
for Advanced Study community and may be invited to give a
presentation in the CAS/MillerComm series of public events.
They should not be assigned to teach regularly scheduled
courses, fill in for faculty members on leave, or carry out
regular faculty duties.
Unit
Head's Letter is required indicating the financial commitment
of your unit and how this visit will impact on the unit as
a whole.
